Weirdos Comedy Scratch Night – Adam Larter & Ali Brice
May 8, 2026 at 7:00PM

Work in progress comedy from award winning comedy collective Weirdos Comedy featuring two comedians road-testing their upcoming shows for the Edinburgh fringe.

Tonight absurdist musical comedy from Adam Larter with his show ‘Who Remember’s the 90s?’ and freewheeling stand-up from cult fringe comedian Ali Brice with his new show ‘Adam Larter: Who Remembers the 90s?’ Not a lot has been written about the decade ‘the nineties’ and so Adam Larter will FINALLY try to get to the bottom of what happened in this decade. Expect well researched journalism and not a load of surreal nonsense.
“One of the most stupidly brilliant things you’ll see this Fringe.”

Fest Ali Brice: This is the way we brush our teeth I like smiling. But only when I’m unaware of it. If you know you’re smiling, you’re doing it wrong. Unless you’re looking at a camera. Or a dentist. I hope this show makes you smile without realising it. That would make me smile. It’ll be chaotic, heartfelt and silly.
**** “the most entertaining experience I enjoyed at the Fringe” EdFringeReview

Hebbex D’expectatio Expectata is a Norwegian experimental music trio based in Stavanger. The group is an evolution of a long-standing duo consisting of Kjetil Brandsdal (Noxagt, Ultralyd, No Balls) and Thore Warland (Staer, Golden Oriole, Tørrfall, Plan Affine) – expanded with the addition of vocalist Helge Thornes, a figure from the Norwegian psychobilly and dancehall scenes of the 80’s and 90’s. Polyrhythmic music for turntables, percussion and voice. Crucial.
